We Walked in Darkness

We Walked in Darkness is a 2.5D side scrolling platformer where you play as two sibling slaves trying to escape to the north via the Underground Railroad. Stealth your way through obstacles and solve puzzles as you learn what it was really like to have risked your life for the sake of freedom.

For We Walked in Darkness I worked on a few things. I wrote and reworked chapter 3. This was an interesting challenge as I wasn’t allowed to write many new lines so I had to find pre-existing lines and reuse those. I also wrote the copy and marketing for it. This made for a more unique writing experience.
