Destiny 2 Beyond Light is a major expansion to Destiny universe. Take hold of the darkness within you and protect humanity from the likes of Eramis and the Pyramids of Darkness. Learn more about yourself within the ancient city on the surface of Europa. Explore the Deep Stone Crypt to unveil the secrets of the Exo and Clovis Bray.
In the Lightfall expansion players are sent to Neptune in an attempt to prevent the Witness from getting a powerful relic. However, they are followed by it’s servant Calus, the former emperor of the Cabal. After uncovering a hidden city the players must help protect it and find this ancient relic before it can be activated.
In the Final Shape expansion the Witness has begun it’s dreadful work. The players must dive into a portal to the core of the Traveler and stop the Witness. Along the way they will uncover new powers and old allies. If they fail the universe will be changed into the Witness’s twisted idea of perfection.
In my first contract I worked as a Contract Generalist Tester for Beyond Light and Season of the Splicer. Specifically I tested the Deep Stone Crypt raid and the Vault of Glass reprise raid. Among various other aspects of the Beyond Light expansion. In my time I wrote expansive bugs and helped ensure we released an exciting raid. I also helped with other aspects of the game in order to create a fun and new experience.
During my second contract I worked on the performance team. I assisted in testing Lightfall and the Final Shape. My testing was focused on providing data and in depth knowledge of the content. My continuing mission was to help ensure the game runs well and continued to leave players excited for more. I also was put on several different teams to assist as well. Testing the latest multiplayer modes, seasonal activities, new multiplayer maps, a new dungeon, and the Salvation’s Edge raid. Testing these different activities I assisted with playtests and providing a different perspective. This continued testing helped create a smooth release for each of these expansions, seasons, and activities.
